Apple Pay Terms and Conditions – Bitzaro Limited
These Apple Pay Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) set out the terms and conditions under which you may add and use your Bitzaro Card issued by Bitzaro Limited (“we,” “us,” or “our”) with Apple Pay. By adding your Bitzaro Card to Apple Pay, you agree to these Terms.
- Definitions
- Apple Pay: A mobile payment and digital wallet service provided by Apple Inc. that allows you to add eligible payment cards and use them for in-store, in-app, and online payments using compatible Apple devices.
- Bitzaro Card: A payment card (physical or virtual) issued by Bitzaro Limited.
- You / Your: The customer who holds a Bitzaro Card and uses Apple Pay.
2. Eligibility To use Apple Pay with your Bitzaro Card:
- You must have a valid and active Bitzaro Card.
- Your Apple device must support Apple Pay and be running the appropriate version of iOS, watchOS, or macOS.
- You must comply with Apple’s own terms and conditions for Apple Pay.
3. Adding Your Card to Apple Pay You can add your Bitzaro Card to Apple Pay by following the on-screen instructions provided by Apple. We may require additional verification or decline the request to add your Card at our sole discretion.
4. Using Your Card with Apple Pay Once your Card is added to Apple Pay, you may use it:
- To make contactless payments in-store using a compatible Apple device.
- To make in-app and online payments where Apple Pay is supported.
You are responsible for ensuring that your device is secure and that your authentication methods (e.g., Face ID, Touch ID, passcode) are not shared.
5. Fees and Charges We do not charge you any additional fees for adding or using your Bitzaro Card with Apple Pay. However, your standard card fees and charges as per your agreement with us will continue to apply. Please also check with your mobile network provider for any data or usage charges.
6. Security Using Apple Pay means your actual card number is not stored on your device or shared with merchants. A unique Device Account Number is used instead. You must:
- Keep your device secure.
- Notify us immediately if your device or card is lost or stolen.
- Not share your security credentials.
7. Suspension or Removal We may suspend or remove your Bitzaro Card from Apple Pay if:
- We suspect unauthorized or fraudulent use.
- Your card is expired, blocked, or otherwise ineligible.
- Required by law or regulatory obligation.
You may also remove your Card from Apple Pay at any time via the Wallet app.
8. Your Responsibilities You are responsible for:
- Ensuring only your own cards are added to your Apple Pay account.
- Complying with Apple’s terms and applicable laws.
- Monitoring transactions made with Apple Pay.
9. Liability We are not liable for:
- Any failure of Apple Pay or your device.
- Any disputes with merchants.
- Any indirect or consequential losses resulting from the use of Apple Pay.
Our liability is limited as set out in your Bitzaro Cardholder Agreement.
10. Privacy By using Apple Pay, you agree that:
- Apple may use and store your information in accordance with its own privacy policies.
- We may exchange information with Apple to provide the Apple Pay service.
- We will process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to These Terms We may change these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on our website or by notifying you via email or push notification. Continued use of Apple Pay with your Bitzaro Card will be deemed acceptance of those changes.
12. Termination We may terminate your use of Apple Pay with your Bitzaro Card at any time with or without notice. You may also remove your card from Apple Pay at your discretion.
13. Governing Law These Terms are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
